Windows 10: How to fix This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action....

After i updated my windows 10 into the new update OS Builds 19044.4412 and 19045.4412 it bugged my search bar and my folder. yesterday it was working fine until i update it which make the search bar sometime not showing even when i type on the start menu, slower, and it just shows a big magnifying glass when its done. and for my folder it says this: This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Settings page. i've tried to restart the file explorer on task manager

• What file are you trying to open?

This issue is caused if the file is not associated with any of the application or program to open it.

If those files are the pictures as I can see that you are trying to access the picture folder. I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if the issue resolves.

• Right click on the file and select Open with.
• Select Photo App or Photo Gallery.
• Double click and check if you are able to open that file.

If nothing there helps then run System File Checker along with DISM from Step 10 in this checklist:

If those do not repair the broken system files then continue with Step 11 in checklist to run a Repair Install which reinstalls WIndows while keeping your files, programs and most settings in place, by installing the Media Creation Tool from this link

If any steps cannot be performed normally then try them in 1) Safe Mode with Networking (so you have internet) or 2) Safe Mode, accessed by one of the illustrated steps in this guide:

there is no email program associated to perform the requested action

I'm sure what you mean re User Accounts what is listed under Mail. There were no mail references. Same with Set defaults by app.
