Windows 10: How to fix two input jacks are displaying as one output

I just purchased earphones, but when i plugged it in my pc, it was not detecting it.When i tried to test if it was still working, speakers and that earphones was working at the same time.So i checked in sound settingsin control panel and in the properties of my speakers there is my earphones.Can anyone help me to fix this issue?I have already reinstalled realtek drivers couple times but still nothing.

Hi,

Can you please is the Microphone is listed in the device manager after you connected to jack or not.

Step 1:

Go to Device Manager & expand Audio Inputs and Outputs

Step 2:

If Microphone is listed Select Microphone and right-click then select Enable Device

Let me know the status after performing the above.

How to bring up audio jack´s input/output choice window?

My computer has only one audio jack. I need it to work as an input line in, Currently it works as an output. When I plugged audio into the jack, Windows used to ask me whether the jack should work as an input or an output. Now I can´t change that setting.
How do I bring back the window that allows me to change the jack´s input/output choice?

It's possible that the the reboot may have changes some settings in your device's audio manager. Let's try to separate all input jacks as independent input devices by doing the following steps:

• Open Explorer, type or paste Control Panel\All Control Panel Items and then open
  Realtek HD Audio Manager.
• Click Device advance settings (top-right) and click Make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously and Separate all input jacks as independent input devices.
