Windows 10: How to fix win32kfull.sys BSOD SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION on my Windows 10 PC?

I'm encountering a Blue Screen of Death BSOD error with the message "SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION" on my Windows 10 PC, pointing to "win32kfull.sys." The issue happens intermittently while using multiple applications. I've already tried updating drivers and running a system scan with "sfc /scannow," but the error persists. Any suggestions for a permanent fix?

SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (igdkmd64.sys)

I try to install newest Intel HD Graphics 4600 drivers on Windows 10, but get the BSOD: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (igdkmd64.sys). I tried drivers from:

• Intel site
  
• Asus (Motherboard manufacturer) site
  
• Windows Update
  

This error come every time when trying to update the drivers. The Device Manager shows Microsoft generic VGA graphics adapter drivers and Intel drivers cannot be installed. The BSOD comes either while installing or after reboot.

The system has only Intel's onboard graphics.

How could I get Intel drivers installed without BSOD?

windows 10 BSOD igdkmd64.sys system_service_exception

Hello,

I've had occasional, but repeated BSODs all saying system_service_exception and indicated that igdkmd64.sys is what went wrong.

My system is a Windows 10 64bit ASUS X556 Laptop.

The crashes happen quite far apart - at least a week inbetween. They don't seem to happen upon performing any specific action.
