Windows 10: How to fix Windows 10 20H2 detecting Xbox controllers as mice when pressing Start/Menu.

Hi. So here's the issue. After I updated to Windows 10 20H2, Windows suddenly started detecting and using my Xbox Series SX controller as a mouse whenever I would hit Start/Menu. This is incredibly aggravating as it is interfering with all of my games. Any time I pause a game, open a menu tied to the Start/Menu button, or press the Start/Menu button because it is bound as a control in something like a simulator, it activates mouse control.In some games, it's not immediately noticeable until say, for example: I press Start/Menu to open the inventory screen in Destiny 2, I do whatever it is I n

There are several reasons why your Xbox One controller is detected as an Xbox 360 controller by your PC. It is possible that the controller is not updated or if you previously used an Xbox 360 controller on the PC, it is still detecting its drivers instead
of the Xbox One controller drivers. To properly isolate your concern, please clarify the following information:

• Have you used an Xbox 360 controller on the same computer before?
• Does the error message occur on all of the games that you play?
• Have you tried to update the controller?
• Are you using an Xbox One Elite controller?
