Windows 10: How to fix Windows 10 Applications glitching out

In more ways than one, Windows 10 applications have been refusing to work. When I open an audio file to play it, I can't select or click on anything without a black box sliding across the screen, when I try to use the snipping tool, my cursor slides to the opposite side of the screen, and when I try to type something into the Windows search bar, it won't let me get past the first letter. I hope this isn't a "Windows 10 is no longer being supported" thing because I refuse to update to Windows 11.

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Glitching After Updating To Windows 10

Display errors might have caused by an incompatible drivers. For us to isolate the issue, we would like to know the following:

  build number and version of your Windows?
• When you say glitch, does it mean that the screen flickers?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• What is the make and model of your Windows 10 laptop?
