Windows 10: How to fix Windows 10 latency gradually increasing when using Xbox One Controller?

Windows 10, Intel i5 6600k CPU, Asus Z170-A Motherboard, RTX 3080ti GPUWhen I use my new Xbox One controller wired and wireless, after 5-10 minutes it increases latency on my PC. My system begins to slow down, frame rate drops significantly, and audio crackles. After enough time passes my PC begins to freeze up. This latency problem only happens using Xbox One Controller's thumbsticks. Any combination of the buttons do not affect latency. Keyboard + mouse do not affect latency. To be clear, the latency only increases when I move either of the thumbsticks. The latency increases over ti

Can’t connect Xbox one controller to pc
