Windows 10: how to fix windows 11 from automatically changing the name of my monitors

Overall, I have loved my new PC and Windows 11, however, I have noticed that it will automatically rename my monitors. I have dual monitors attached to my PC and to help distinguish which display is what, I named one "left display" and the other "right display" creative, I know. When I go to select sound output for my programs I am using aka which monitor I want sound to come from as they have built in speakers, I have noticed that my PC will rename my monitors automatically in which both options will say left display, for example. So then I have to figure out which option is actually my r

We appreciate you getting back to us. To change the cmd name, we suggest that you follow this steps:

• Open a Command Prompt (Adimin) window: Win+X, A, Alt+Y
• Then run the following command to change your computer name to Donner: WMIC ComputerSystem where Name=COMPUTER-NAME call Rename Name=NewName
• Reboot your PC.
• Try to run ipconfig / all command, you should find that the Host Name in Windows IP Configuration list has been changed to the new name.
