Windows 10: How to fix Windows after accidentally formatting its hard drive when trying to reinstall...

Hello,I am in a dire need of some assistance and help on this as I am trying to find a way to fix this as I am working on it. The problem is that I changed the boot settings under the System Configuration however as I was trying to repair this issue by trying to reinstall windows from a 4 TB external hard drive and flash drive, I stumbled into some more issues as I accidentally formatted the Windows C: drive. When Winwos was doing the system automatic repair thing it was asking for my password and I couldn't remember so I was trying to reinstall Windows because of it and wouldn't allow me to

Unformat a hard drive?

I was reinstalling windows and accidentally "quick format" the wrong hard drive which contained all my music. is there anyway i can unformat it and retreive some of that music? what program do i use?

Formatting my hard drive on Toshiba Satellite and reinstalling Windows 10.

I use a Toshiba Satellite and I upgraded to windows 10.

I want to format my hard drive and reinstall windows 10.

How do I go about it?

Will appreciate a step by step procedure bearing in mind I am not a geek.
