Windows 10: How to fix Windows Installer and be able to repair, install, and uninstall Microsoft Visual...

I purchased an HP Victus a couple of days ago specifically to play The Sims 4. I have Windows 11. The EA app would not download so I tried to troubleshoot myself. One of the suggestions was to uninstall the current Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables on the current system and update to the most recent I have a 64 system. The problem I was having is that I am unable to uninstall or reinstall these programs, it is taking a long time and just stops at "Setup Progress." I ended up cancelling the process which I think messed things up. I attempted to repair the programs and it would still stop

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

& check if the issue persists.
