Windows 10: How to fix yellow tint on screen after windows 11 update KB5033375 installed

Windows 11 update KB5033375 appears to be defective. After it was installed yesterday, my screen went yellowish. I found a possible fix by researching the problem--going under "Color Management" to change the profile to sRGB IEC1966-2.1. I rebooted per instructions, but the yellow tint remained. I uninstalled KB5033375 and rebooted. My screen went back to normal. KB5033375 was installed again today. Screen went yellowish again. Is there a way to keep this security update without having a yellow screen? My newish ASUS OLED screen now looks awful. Also, is there a way to report this issu

Yellow tint after Windows 10 update

This morning I received an update for my Windows 10 Home 64 bit (Windows 10 to Windows 10 update). After the update my screen has a yellow tint.

I followed a previous suggestion to reboot in safe mode. It helped: the screen is normal white. When I reboot again to the normal mode, the yellow tint returned.

I have tinkered with my monitor settings for eye strain. I will restore defaults to see if this works.

Thanks. Problem solved. I hope this is patched soon. I never noticed how effective the blue blocker mode was until disabling it to resolve this issue. *Thumbs

 

Yellow Tint on Laptop Screen

Hello! I was using my laptop when all of a sudden the screen tinted yellow, I tried a number of fixes including night light mode and all, and I was able to pinpoint the problem to the display driver.

- When I uninstalled the Intel(R) display driver/adapter, my laptop screen went back to normal, same thing with disabling it

- However, when I restarted my computer, it was fine for a minute or two and then it would suddenly tint yellow again

- Updating my driver did not fix the problem
