Windows 10: How to fix your screen freezing?

First, I have a Windows 11 Dell desktop computer and an AMD Ryzen 5 5625U with Radeon Graphics. My computer screen keeps freezing on me very often. Sometimes, only part of my screen is frozen so the real page I'm on is able to be seen through several gaps in the frozen past page. The problem sometimes escalates a lot to the point that my entire screen starts freezing way too many times than it should happen in a single minute. My screen also sometimes freezes and turn black and my computer acts very laggy. There also is a long delay between switching tabs. I don't really know how to get starte

Andre, thanks for your suggestions. I performed all steps as you listed and it appears that there were

some problems that have been corrected. I will let you know in a day or so if the "freeze" problem

occurs again. Many thanks for your help --- this took longer than I expected!

Windows 10 freezes randomly

I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin

I had tried that as well... no result.
