    How can I fix Error 0x80010135: Path too long

    On Windows 10 64 Home - When I right click on a zipped file and choose Extract All... I sometimes get Error 0x80010135: Path too long. How can I fix Error
    0x80010135    : Path too long when opening a zip file? I am unable to "shorten the name" until it is unzipped so that does not seem to be an option I can use to fix this problem.
    My only choices are Try Again, Skip, Cancel - all of which will result in me losing data from the zip file.

    If I need to use another application to unzip the file, could you provide a link that you know is safe?

    I'm not particularly "computer literate", so I would need specific steps.
