Windows 10: How to forbidden and stop copy files c drive document files to d drive?

How to forbidden and stop copy files c drive document files to d drive?D drive can not copy and move to c drive nowC drive can not move files to d drive nowBut I discover files can copy to d drive from documents folder Another question Is that d drive has a folder confidential, how to enable and disable files being copied from this specified folder when only me allow to backup to USB storage?

Drive D attributes and file management

I am attempting to copy my data (documents, pictures, music, etc.) to the D drive to free up space on C. I changed the default setting to D under Settings-Storage-Change where new content is saved. I then opened File Explorer and moved a directory from C
to D. It moved the files, but now all directories, subdirectories and files are read-only. I have tried to uncheck the read-only box under properties, but to no avail. Any suggestions...am I doing something wrong?

Windows 10 Saving files to D drive

I'm trying to set 1Tb HDD (D:\) as location to save files insetad of on 256Gb SSD (C:\) on new W.10 system. Using File Explorer and Properties Dialog Box for relevant folders. Following instructions on redirecting 'Documents' to D drive I entered new location
as 'D:\' rather than 'D:\Documents'. Three adverse results:

1) Where 'Documents' previously appeared above the C and D drive listings within 'This PC' now it just says 'D:\' between '3d Objects' and 'Desktop'. Looks messy (How can I change it back to 'Documents'?) and does it matter to functioning of Windows?

2) 'Documents' has disappeared from C:\Users\Me[\Documents] and if I try to create a new subfolder 'Documents' it says such a file already exists (even though not visible). Do I need to fix this?

3) I want to get the stored Documents data into a folder on the D drive rather than just on the D drive top level. When I try to do this I am told I can't move parent data into child folder.

I seem to have got the relocation of 'Pictures' done successfully, so it seems I just made this one slip when trying to move 'Documents' from the C drive to the D drive.

 

I can't transfer a file from drive D back to Drive C

I transfer a big file of my game from drive C to Drive D to free up space, but now I can't play my game and I think its because I transfer its file to drive D. and whenever I try to copy the file from drive D back to drive C. It still doesn't show. I can't
copy the file.

Can someone help me with my issues?
