  1. How to force miracast to always start on extended mode?

This is extremely frustrating. Using wireless display from a laptop , one often closes the lid. Doing so, "when" the wireless monitor disconnects at that time, the next time one connects, they are forced to "Second Screen Only". It should never change a setting that was never used on the machine, or even by the user on an other machine. I'm sick of nearly every time I connect to the TV, I loose my monitor. I mean ****?Is there a registry key or anything that can permanently disable "Second Screen Only"?

    :)

    Does Miracast support 4K?

    Hello,

We suggest that you check with the manufacturer of the 4k display device that you are using if it is certified to work with Miracast. If your display device is certified to work with Miracast, then check if your PC device supports Miracast. You may do so
    by following the steps below:

    • Click Start, then go to Settings >
      Projecting to this PC
      .
    • Check if your device supports Miracast.

    Regards.
