Windows 10: How to format a hard drive and save Windows license

Recently it seems I've installed a phishing virus on my computer that has been stealing passwords from my accounts. I've tried several antivirus programs, but they haven't detected any problems, and the theft of my passwords continues. Now I want to solve this problem radically by erasing all data from the hard drive via the BIOS I know it's possible to reset the computer to factory settings via Windows settings, but I'm afraid the virus is too strong, and it won't help remove it from the device. If I'm wrong, I'd appreciate if you correct me. However, since I have a licensed version of Wind

  Connect the external hard drive to Windows 10 computer.
  
• 
  Press Windows + E keys on the keyboard to the keyboard to open the file explorer.

  Locate the external hard drive on left navigation pane in File explorer.

  Right click on the external hard drive and click on
  Format.

In Windows 10, you can easily format a hard drive or a partition by accessing Computer Management. For us to assist you, we suggest that you follow the steps listed below:

• Press the Start button.
• Type Computer Management.
• On the left side, click on Disk Management under Storage.
• Locate the drive that you want to format.
• Once located, right-click on the drive and choose Format.
