Windows 10: How to format disk on Windows 11

So im trying to format my micro sd card using a micro sd to usb and it is not working it says "Check to see that the disk and drive are connected properly,make sure that the disk is not read-only, and then try again. For more information, search Help for read-only files and how to change them. so then i search it up and watch a couple videos but none of them work, so if you help me i would be VERY grateful.

Run CMD


1. diskpart
2. list disk

Then in the 3º step, put the correct number of disk in the list for the usb flash (if it's listed in disk 3, then you'll have to write select disk 3).

2. select disk #
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

with that commands you will format the flash drive in fat32, if you have a large drive you can select also "format fs=ntfs" in step 7.

Windows 11 installazione problem after format of hard disk

After i formated my hard disk, now i installed windows 11 ISO immage in my usb for windows 11 in my computer and when i goes to insert in the computer, it says the usb is formatted in ntfs,please format in fat32,now if i format my usb in fat32 it won t install windows 11 because it s 6gb file and the fat32 file limit is 4gb. Can anyone help saying step by step.

Disk Management without any error. To check, follow the steps below:

• Click Windows + X.
• Select Disk Management.
• Check and see if your pen drive shows on the list.
