    How to freeze icons with multiple users in Windows 10


    In Windows 10 I have 2 user accounts. User 2 logs on, does whatever and logs off. When user 1 logs back on, several of the icon apps have been moved. Auto arrange is off. How do I freeze the icons on user 1?

    Windows 10 desktop icons not in order

    In ccleaner, did you uncheck cleaning the icon cache... have not used in a while; however, I think that is what the option is called.

    Now, if you are setting the icons and they move after you have set the settings and not changed them... you may have the "Random Windows 10 Icon movement problem".
    Some people have this and some don't.

    Windows 10 freezes randomly


    I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
    Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin
    I had tried that as well... no result.
