Windows 10: How to get accents on windows 10?

New to windows. On Mac it was simple, just long press the character. I don’t have a num pad on my keyboard, and US international keyboard isn’t an option in the languages menu. Is there a solution that isn’t copy and pasting the accents ?

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

• When you say that "put accents above the e and o but i can't seem ", how exactly have you tried to use the accents on the computer?

accent color

The accent color (primarily the red shades) are missing in window 10 and do not know why. Any suggestion how to get the original window 10 accent colors back? Thank you.
