Windows 10: How to get back the Win10 1511 start menu layout

Hello. Is there any way to get back the 1511 start menu? Since the Anniversary Update it changed and I really would prefer the previous one, however I cannot find anything in settings or on the internet about how to get it back. Is it even possible? Thanks.

Some how , my layout has changed & bottom ask bar. The windows key on my key board no longer does anything due to the new format - how can I revert to t original layout.

I suggest you to perform system restore. This option takes your PC back to an earlier point in time where your computer worked fine.

I would suggest you to perform a system restore to an earlier date prior to this issue.

Hi, once again, sorry, no. So many have asked. MS has changed the design- please read the many articles on the anniversary changes. Best option - 3rd party start menu. I use Classic Shell (free).

I use a 3rd Party Program called Classic Shell.

You can fully customize the Start Menu: change the items listed there, have different buttons there, change the start button icon, etc. There's too much to list.

 

Classic Shell is excellent. I configure it so mouse hover opens Classic Shell and mouse click opens Windows Start so you can have access to both menus *Smile
