Windows 10: How to get into safe mode on Toshiba satellite

Does anyone know how to get into safe mode on a toshiba satellite. Black/blue screen with solid cursor after creator update fail. F8 is disabled by default in windows 10, so please do not suggest anything that requires win 10 to be working.

How did you get to safe mode? I am having the same error. My pc is also a Toshiba Satellite

 

Windows 10 in reboot loop

my toshiba satellite L750D has gone into a reboot loop after a windows 10 automatic upgrade. How do I resolve this since I can’t get into safe mode etc.

Start the computer, Press F2 to boot into Setup (Bios) go to the Security tab, if Fast Boot is enabled,(if it's there) disable it, Save and Exit.
Restart the computer, When Windows starts to load, hold the power button down until it shuts off. Do this like 3 times in a row. On the Fourth time, when it starts it should give you the Advanced Boot Menu, where you can choose Safe Mode etc

 

Oh my God!...to log in as an administrator you need windows 10. Pay attention and listen to the words...Black screen/ blue screen with cursor. F8 is disabled in windows 10 by default and "0" does not work. Nothing including legacy is of any use in the bios. And no one has told the other guy how the hell does he get into safe mode yet.

 

Windows 10 does not load on startup, no Toshiba logo, just a looping black screen/blue screen with cursor. And the bios is on slow boot.

 

If the Toshiba logo is not showing when you startup, and the Bios loads slow, then there is a Hardware Problem with your computer.
Start by removing the battery and run the computer on the power adapter only.
If that doesn't solve it, remove the HDD and boot into Setup (Bios) Once in the Bios, set it to Defaults, Save and Exit. if that is still not working, then remove all but one stick of RAM, switch the modules around, move it to the other port etc.

 

Yes, tried all that. The bios is set to slow boot, the boot is not slow. The alternating black screen/blue screen with cursor is a boot loop. I can get into the bios from F2 or F12 easily in half a second without touching the power button. InsydeH20 bios. 5 year old toshiba satellite c850d.

 

If I start it without the hard drive, then put it back in and start it, I get the Toshiba logo. But nothing else has changed, still blue screen with cursor boot loop and f2 and f12 are all that work.

 

If the computer boots normally to the Bios without the HDD, then the HDD is failing or has already failed.
You can test this theory by removing the HDD and attaching it to a USB Adapter, Dock or Enclosure with a power adapter. If the HDD does not spin up, or it spins up then spins down, the HDD needs to be replaced.

 

1) Find 2 flash drives that you can format.
2) On flash drive 1 make a bootable windows 10 iso:
Download Windows 10
3) On flash drive 2 make a bootable drive to run memtest86+:
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool
4) Each computer manufacturer has a F key to boot to a device:
List of PC brands with their corresponding hot-keys
5) Connect one of the flash drives to any USB port
5) For toshiba power on and repetitively clicking the F12 key should open a menu allowing you to choose a boot device
6) Choose the external USB hard drive and boot to the flash drive
7) exit
8) perform the same steps for the second flash drive
9) for each flash drive report the results into the thread
