  1. How to get my flash drive to reinstall windows 11

Hi, i recently got an email from my tablet manufacturer. I have a fusion 5 tablet. The problem I’m having is, I transferred my whole C: drive over to my external D: drive a while back. All my files went through, but a lot of them were on my desktop. Most were shortcuts, but I got rid of a lot of them. Then I got an email that my “one drive “ had 1400 files that were gonna get deleted. They are a bunch of lettered and numbered file names. I told fusion 5 that I just wanted to start over. So they gave me a file in my email. It is the files to reinstall my OS. I tried their step by step instructi

  2. USB Flash drive not seen on Laptop running Windows 11

    Hi,EliBiek

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I'm sorry to hear that neither Windows 11 laptops nor Android phones recognize USB flash drives. Here are some steps you can take to try to retrieve data from a potentially damaged or corrupted USB flash drive:

1.Check the USB connection: Make sure the USB port you are using is working properly. Try connecting the USB flash drive to a different USB port on our laptop.

2.Using a different computer: Try connecting the USB flash drive to another computer to see if it is recognized. This will help determine if the problem is with the USB drive itself or the laptop.

    3.Check Disk Management (Windows):

    • Press Windows Key + X and select Disk Management.
    • Look for the USB flash drive in the list of drives. If it appears but does not have a drive letter assigned, you may need to assign a drive letter to access it.

If none of these steps help to retrieve data from the USB flash drive and the data on the USB flash drive is critical, it is advisable to stop trying to access it further to prevent any further damage. Recovering data from a physically damaged drive is very complicated and you may consider seeking the help of a professional data recovery service. They have specialized tools and expertise to recover data from damaged storage devices.

    Reinstalling Windows (what drive)

It may be possible to troubleshoot and fix the boot problems and operating system/registry problems.
Sometimes access denied can be fixed.
Sometimes missing dll files can be fixed.

If you clean install, it can be performed in the shortest time however the files will be cleaned.
If you boot rescue the files can be backed up to another drive.

If you troubleshoot these are the initial steps.
The next steps will be based on the results displayed from these commands.

    CD to flash drive

    Hi Pam,

There are several ways to copy your pictures from the CD to the Flash drive. One of which is by using the shortcut keys to copy and paste it.

We suggest following the steps below:

    • Open the CD drive.
    • If all the pictures are in a specific folder, press Ctrl + A
on your keyboard to automatically choose all the pictures then, press Ctrl + C to copy it.
    • Afterwards, Open the Flash drive, choose the location where you want to copy the pictures then press
Ctrl + V to paste it.
