Windows 10: How to get my network to show, bit only has option for airplane mode. I have tried to press...

I have tried everything from holding down power; CTR Alt del; CTR Alt del r ; windows button alone doesn't work nor does window and x. There's nothing reacting except the power button, and the airplane mode button. It is in a" Chromebook for Walmart" and I know these aren't the best. I just don't understand how only 8 months into ownership there's nothing to do to get my kids laptop back in working order. He cannot even get to settings bc it will not allow him to sign in . Someone please he

How to disable Airplane mode permanently on Windows 10?

Step 4: I suggest you to run SFC scan and check if it helps.

Windows Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing or is corrupted, Windows may not behave as expected.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
• After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

Windows 10 pro 64 bit airplane mode on desktop

To anyone having problems with AIrplane mode randomly turning on on your desktop.

I tried checking for viruses, installed new network card drivers.
Turned off power saving mode on network card.
Disabled wifi and uninstalled wifi adapter.
Edited registry and did the radioenable 0 step.

None of this worked

After 2 weeks this is how i solved it.

Uninstalled the following windows updates.

• December 13, 2016—KB3206632 (OS Build 14393.576)
• December 9, 2016 —KB3201845 (OS Build 14393.479)
• November 9, 2016 - KB3200970 (OS Build 14393.448)
• November 8, 2016 - KB3200970 (OS Build 14393.447)
• Problem is now resolved 2 days and no airplane mode when in the middle of competitive matches on steam.

Hope this post helps someone. And Microsoft needs to get their crap together and get this fixed.
