    How to get out of Recovery mode


    Recently I updated my Asus zenbook to windows 11. After that it kept freezing and then show recovery mode, I've tried nearly all the options but the same blue screen continues to pop up. For example I tried startup repair but it would say couldn't repair your pc, I've tried reseting my PC but when I click remove everything or keep my files it instantly says there was a problem resetting your PC. I'm unaware of my bit locker key because I got the laptop in 2020 and don't even remember my Microsoft password for the account I made.

    Windows Went Recovery mode after uninstalling a program

    Thanks for the reply and appreciate your efforts to work on this issue.

    • When you say "safe mode has limited options and they don't seem to work", are you able to boot the computer to the desktop in Safe mode?

    If you are able to boot the computer in Safe mode, then proceed with the clean boot steps as suggested previously.

    If you are still facing issues, then please reply with more information so that we can help you further.

    How to get out of Recovery mode

    Cannot go into recovery mode in several ways

    Problem:

    Cannot login into normal mode or safe mode or access anything other than Boot settings.

    • Do not get usual login screen.
    • Seeing Automatic repair and then BSOD with code 0xc000014c
    • That loop continues.
    Troubleshooting Steps taken:

    • Tried 3 times reset when in "Preparing Automatic Repair" to boot into recovery mode - Failed.
    • Created bootable WIndows 10 USB flash drive to go into repair mode - Getting another BSOD with code "Driver pnp watchdog"
    • Some times, after "Preparing automatic repair" screen, i get "Your pc needs to be repaired" recovery screen where it shows F8 to go into Startup settings. When i press F8, i get the same screen again in a loop.

    Computer: Dell Precision T3500 Workstation

    OS: Windows 10 64 bit
