Windows 10: How to get out of the preparing automatic repair

I already tried multiple things like pressing the power button for 20 seconds, to press the f8 multiple times and it does not work. It looks like is frozen and it’s been like this like for 5 days. The battery of the laptop wasn’t working well, the laptop has antivirus and this happened when I wanted to upload the laptop.

My son's Lenovo Ideapad 110-15ACL has been stuck on "Preparing Automatic Repair" for over a week now. I can't followed any steps listed for remedying it because the computer doesn't respond to any instructions, like holding F8 or even booting from a USB, at all. Has anyone ideas or it's time to discard this 5-year old laptop?
