Windows 10: How to get PIN input box back to input PIN and open Windows 10 HP machine?

After a recent Windows 10 update/download I lost the ability to input my PIN and open my machine. I am get the "PIN Required" screen by no input box. Suggestions? I have reboot too many times and no change.I an HP Intel machine, it is about 6 years old.I've no issues with the machine except access - PIN input.

To resolve the issue regarding locked out in Windows 10, we suggest you follow the steps below:

• Open the “Settings” in Win menu and click on the “Account” icon to enter account settings.

• Choose “Sign-in option” and click “I forgot my PIN”, you can reset your PIN there. If it is a local account, please input the local account login password and then you can reset your PIN.

PIN not working without inputting a school/work email

The PIN input stopped working so Windows told me to reset it. In doing so, the set-up required a work or school email and denied a personal email. By not having an organizational email inputted, the set-up process denied me my PIN and now I cant use a
PIN. What up with that?
