Windows 10: How to get previous product key if we have used new one

Hello, I am having an issue with product key actually I gave my pc for reset the man in store reset my pc but removed my Windows 10 Home and Student 2016 which had free Microsoft Office and installed windows home single language 2010, Now I need my 2016 version back but am unable to find previous product key. Please help me

My previous computer stop functioning and I bought a new one. I want to use my previous product key but activation fails

I have a digital license for Windows Pro that was bought a couple months ago.

Now I want to use that digital license and product key in a new computer, as the previous one where that key was activated no longer exists.

I followed all step by step guides but activation keeps saying my product key was used in a previous device.

I do not want to buy a new license. What can I do?

Thank you for contacting Microsoft community.

I suggest you to Uninstall the license using the following steps.

• Press Windows key + X
• Click Command Prompt (Admin)
• At the command prompt, type: slmgr.vbs -upk
• Press Enter, this will uninstall the product key from the computer.

Further on, install Windows 8.1 activate the copy with the product key on the new machine. Then again upgrade the same to Windows 10 using Window Update or Media Creation Tool.

Steps:

• Press and hold Windows key + R.
• Type ‘slui 3’.
• Enter your old product key and try to change product key
• Use the new product and check if you are able to activate.
