Windows 10: How to get printer driver remember previous? A4 Landscape for no known reason

I assume other printers share the same strange behavior. My printer suddenly print landscape for following settingsefaultCustomizedAutomaticProblem is forDFall printers in my location.Intermittent because above settings start to work againNot according to printer profile I found temporary fix is changing to manual orientation; why is the problem intermittent? It is difficult to stop printing after first page did not come up correctly. Environmentally speaking, this is causing much paper to recycle. Edge does not remember Printer Orientation even though Windows Printer Driver is set to Landscape

I am trying to print a document from Internet Banking. The document needs to be printed in Landscape. I have setup a second Printer in Windows 10 with the driver set to Landscape.

When I attempt to print the document in edge, the Printer still prints in Portrait and I have to manually change the orientation every time I print. Edge does not pick up the setting from the windows printer driver, nor does it remember the setting once
it has been changed on the fly.

 

How to turn A4 portrait pages into book form, reducing two pages into two columns on an A4 landscape format?

Where does one find the options/controls in Windows 10 to modify a file created in A4 portrait into a different format such as book form, A4 landscape, (rendering 2 A4 portrait pages half size, i.e. into A4 landscape with two A5 columns), other than paste and copy?

To be sure that you followed my suggestion correctly, I will specify some steps:
CP>devices and printers>add a printer>the printer that I want isn't listed>add a local printer with manual settings>define port>Windows update and install
