Windows 10: How to get rid of a large non-titled, non-framed black box on main display.

Woke my Windows 10 PC from sleep and now there is a 8.75" x 5.5" black square with no title bar, no frame obscuring the upper left corner of my main 27" acer display. I have done a "Restart" and a "Shut down", no success. The mouse runs under the box and I can click on some apps that are protruding out from underneath it. There wasn't anything in that area when my PC went to sleep. I have 3 monitors using a Radeon RX 580 Sapphire graphics card.

I would suggest you to try the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1:

I suggest you to try updating the Display Adapter drivers check.

Follow the steps to update the Display driver:

• 
  Press Windows Key + X key and click
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand ‘Display Adapters’.
  
• 
  Right-click on the Display Adapter listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’.
  
• 
  Select the option to
  automatically search for the updated driver software.
  
• 
  Restart the computer after its updated and verify.
  

If the above method doesn't work try the below.

Method 2:

I would suggest you to install the latest Display drivers from manufacturer website in Compatibility Mode.

Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows.

Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

a. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.

b. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on
‘properties’.

c. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box
‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows (Previous operating system) operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

I have a Microsoft VisionTab8.1 upgraded to windows 10. The problem is the display flashes non-stop since startup its driving me crazy. How do I fix it?
