    HOW TO GET RID OF AVAST SECURE BROWSER AND ANY OTHER FILES


    I actually installed AVAST ANTI VIRUS in my laptop. And now, I want to uninstall it because I notice that Windows Defender is actually enough to protect my laptop. I already removed the program of AVAST in control panel, I uninstalled it in settings, I deleted the files in documents. BUT STILL IT'S IN THERE! HOW CAN I GET RID OF THIS CRAP!

    Is Avast Secure Browser better than Chrome?

    Hi Ilias

    you only need to use somethin like Avast Secure Browser when banking ando ther times when you need a secure connection.

    Those type browsers are not really meant to be used generally when browsing the web.

    Chrome has an Incognito / Private Browsing mode, which is equivalent when you need a secure connection

    Honestly, it is a personal choice which one you use, however, one is as good as the other . . .

    I've removed viruses using Avast & Malwarebytes but still get browser redirects when trying to go to any Microsoft sites or update page. Any suggestions?
