    How to get rid of "getting windows ready" message everytime I restart my pc?


    I am on windows 10. Lately my pc has been starting up so slow that I have to restart it right away that leads to waiting hours for it to finish the getting windows ready message while restarting. Then when it finishes it still loads my pc up slow with black screen waiting to load up. Then progams not responding at times just making me click on it repeatedly for it to work. Do I need a new pc?
