Windows 10: How to get rid of people in your family

Hi!I’ve came up with a mistake, a big one. I put my child’s account in my family, with me as the parent, but I can’t get rid of my child now. She’s old enough at this point for her to be on her own. The only problem is I cant get her out, It pops up that I need access, but I am the parent. I looked at it for about 2 minutes and my brain started to function after some coffee. Why is it saying “Family Orginizer since 2022” and not 2023? With regard to your query, we suggest that you follow the steps below to completely remove the Microsoft account family safety feature for your son's account.

• From a web browser, go to
  http://account.microsoft.com/family and sign in with the Microsoft account of an adult in the family.
• To remove a child, choose Remove at the top of the section labeled
  Select a child to view or edit their settings.
• Select the person you want to remove from the family.
• Select the Remove button that appears when you've chosen the person to remove.

• Remove family member from Microsoft.com
  
• Add new account sign in as microsoft account (directly in Family & Other people settings > Other People)
  
• Remove account immediately, choose to delete users data
  
• Login to local account
  
• Change login-type to microsoft account.

Parental controls stopped working. Family.Microsoft.com has alert: "Your family member needs to sign in to their Windows 10 device AngLaptop2014 for family features to work.

But the "how to fix this" says

• Select Accounts > Family & other people
• Under Your family, select your family member, then select Allow
• Have your family member sign in with their Microsoft account if asked to

And the steps don't apply. The account is already allowed, and there is no option to change that.

Now what???
