Windows 10: How to get ride of Today, Yesterday, A Long Time ago when downloading files in Windows 11.

I have set the parameters in File Explorer - Sort > Group By > NONE for filtering so I do not have to see "Today, Yesterday, A Long Time ago" in File Explorer when searching my file folders. However, the issue now resides and remains when downloading files from the web or other applications to place in a file folder and I am unable to remove that sorting and it is highly frustrating as it is making it harder to find the exact folder I want to place my download into and causing me to be slower at work, and much more frustrated. why is it saying long time ago in tnhe file explorer

this hurts so much when the file explorer say long time ago and dont mean it like do you think 1 year is long time ago windows ??

this future makes me go back to windows 7 or 8 or 8.1 or anything else because i dont wanna live in this file explorer lie which is called long time ago please remove it or make it (real) like one year ago or 2 years ago

because long time ago means 6 8 years ago not 1 year it is not even one year it is like 8 months 8 months long time ago ****??

 

Change View in Downloads Folder of Windows 11

Greetings.

I looked up a similar question, (For Windows 10), but I'm asking it for Windows 11.

I've noticed in the Downloads folder how it has subheadings like "Today," "Yesterday," and "A long time ago." I've fiddled with the View, and Properties of this folder, to no avail. I want to change it back to the way it was before the most recent update. (22H2?): a full, continuous list. That way, I can go through and delete what I don't need, or duplicates, etc.

How would I change it back to look like the other folders? It's really quite disorienting.

How do you Disable Explorer's "Today", "Yesterday", and "Last Week" Groups

I like my Downloads displayed as a straight alphabetical list, and not broken down by today, yesterday, and last week. When I go to Downloads this can be done by clicking "view" then "group by" and then "none." Windows, however, does not save that setting
and the next time you go to Downloads you are forced to go through those steps again. How can this be avoided? Until recently this was not a problem.
