Windows 10: How to get Snipping Tool window to resize to size of snippet?

When I use Snipping Tool in Windows 11, the Snipping Tool window will expand to cover most of my screen no matter how large or small the snippet is, leaving a lot of white space around the snippet. How do I get it to automatically size the window to the size of the snippet like it did in Windows 10? I need to be able to read from the snippet and type in another window at the same time. I hate the inefficiency of having to resize the window by hand every time I use it; it's a big waste of time.Thanks

Snippet Tool will snip but snip doesn't show up in a test email

I finally found Snippet Tool which was NOT in the "All Apps" list of programmes.

SO... 1) how do I "pin" Snippet to the All Apps list (& not just the start menu)

2) how can I get Snippet to send my snip as an email (either as an attachment or in the body)

I realize the inconvenience you are experiencing with Windows 10. I will certainly help you.



I would like to inform you that Snipping tool is a desktop app and not a Windows Store app.

All the Windows Store apps will be listed in All apps list and not desktop app.

Regarding the sending attachment emails of snipped imaged, follow the steps below and check if it helps.

1. Open Snipping tool.

2. Then click on New button and then imaged will be shown in the snipping tool.

3. After that click on File button on the top left side of the app and click on
Send to.

4. Click on Email Recipient.

• Have you made any recent changes prior to this issue?
• Is the issue particular to the email account or others also?

We suggest you to launch the Snipping Tool via a right-click on it and select the "Run As Administrator" option.

See if uninstalling and reinstalling the Snipping Tool makes any difference.
