How to Get Sticky Notes to Automatically Start Up with my Desktop

Hello. I would like to get sticky notes the app to start up with my desktop on windows 11. I have located the startup folder, but have had challenges finding the sticky note app location or generating a shortcut on my desktop that I can just move into the startup folder. Can someone walk me through the process, ideally as though you are speaking to a person who is not super adept at working through computer processes? Thanks in advance.

    :)

    sticky notes onmultiple desktops

    Hello Cathy,

    • When you say “multiple desktops for different users” are you referring to multiple desktop on single user account or you are unable to open Sticky notes on a particular user account?
If you have created multiple desktop using the task view on a user account, and if you try to open Sticky notes on the second desktop it’s by design it will automatically open the sticky notes on desktop 1.

    Hope this helps.

How to disable Sticky notes automatic start?

I don't want that sticky notes starts automatically when logging in. I've tried the steps on this page: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...6-76700ddec51b but it doesn't help. I've also tried uninstalling the app but it keeps reinstalling.

    What can I do?

    My build number is 18362.1082.

How to disable Sticky notes automatic start?

    Hello @KAVS;,

    Very strange.

Did you try re-setting Sticky Notes in the Advanced options of Apps & features first, then performing the change of DWORD, and finally Restarting?

    I hope this helps!
