Windows 10: How to get the ability for WINkey+ period to place emoticons

This used to work perfectly, not now. The emoticon panel comes up but when I click on one of the emoticons it is not placed at the cursor location. Nothing happens. Thanks if you have a fix. All the best to you all. You see this was posted 2x. The first time the page froze and I figured it didn't take. Did a redo. And now both are there. Maybe a monitor will take done the 'weakest link"!! lol

We need branding logos in the emoticons panel. (winkey + period)

We definitely need branding logos included here.

We need social media icons where you can set them to hyperlink to your pages so we can easily drop them into any text field, but they are small and not intrusive like so many social media widgets are.

Also allow us the ability to upload/add/remove emoticon packs, or just upload individual ones - make it easy to convert a photo into this format.

How do I turn automatic emoticons OFF in Windows Mail?

Thank you for the information. To turn-off your emoticons on Windows Mail application, we suggest following the steps below:

• Launch your Mail application.
• Press ALT + F+ O + M.
• On the Compose tab, uncheck the Convert special keystrokes to emoticons.
• Click Apply > OK.
