    How to get the Win key + . Period emoticons to work again.


    Several months back I lost the ability to use Winkey+period for emotions almost anywhere I can type. Oh, the emoticons come up for sure. But when I click on them they are not places into where the cursor is blinking. Used to work just great. Does anyone have a clue. And thanks if you do and have time to reveal the fix.     How do I turn automatic emoticons OFF in Windows Mail?

    Thank you for the information. To turn-off your emoticons on Windows Mail application, we suggest following the steps below:

    • Launch your Mail application.
    • Press ALT + F+ O + M.
    • On the Compose tab, uncheck the Convert special keystrokes to emoticons.
    • Click Apply > OK.

    Suggest emoticons not working

    Hi,

    Recently I have updated my mobile with windows 8.1 developer preview.

    Initially I used to get emoticons suggestions for my typed words while messaging etc.

    from past few days those suggestions have stopped working, now while messaging no more emoticons suggestion in my device.

    Could you please address the issue.

    From now on people can suggest more new emoticons in this thread, I think the emoticons shouldn't be larger than this one: *I Love TPU :lovetpu:.

    But ofcourse @W1zzard will make the ultimate decision about that.
