    How to get the Windows 10 Creators update?

    I was a Windows 10 Version 1703 user till last night. Suddenly my PC started acting weird and I had to re-install my Windows. At that time I only had the DVD of Windows 10 which I created through the ISO file when I upgraded my PC from Windows 7 to Windows
    10. So technically I re-installed Windows 10 and my PC was working well after that, but unfortunately I got the old Windows 10 Version 1511. :'(

    After getting used to the new designs and functionalities, this old version is a real pain. Now, how do I get the Creators Update right at this moment? Or will I have to wait to get the Anniversary Update and then the Creators Update?

    The ISOs are available through MSDN now, including Enterprise, Home and Pro, Education and other localized versions. It does indeed require a subscription for access, but they are available to those who have one.

    Just got the update. It looks like Windows Update must first download and install a privacy setting update (KB4013214). Once you restart the PC it will prompt a box telling you to look over some privacy settings. When that's done you should be able to "check for updates" in Windows Update and the Creators Update should be there. Hope this helps some of you who are frantically pressing the update button without the Creators Update showing up - you need to restart the PC - or turn off/on - for that box to appear -- assuming you got the privacy update.
