Windows 10: how to get users to boot from c drive instead of home drive

We switched from vm's to new surface's and we want users to store their data on the C drive instead of their home drive on our servers but still on a domain account. How can I do this? When I look at the user in the C drive there are only like 3 folders in there instead of Downloads, desktop, documents, pictures, etc,.

Deleting all security settings is suicidal.

The easiest way to fix the problem is to ask an expert to visit you and undo the damage.

The next easy method consists of formatting the disk and reloading Windows and all programs.

Fixing it yourself is difficult unless you have strong experience at a maintenance level. The following is required:

• A Windows Repair USB thumb drive.
• The ability to boot the machine into Repair Mode, using this drive.
• The ability to exectute a number of console commands.

 

App download keeps defaulting to D drive instead of C drive.

If I do your first suggestion so I no longer see the D drive will that let me download and install the Nox player on my computer and will it automatically go to my C drive instead of the D drive like it has been doing?

If I do your second suggestion again will I be able to download and install Nox player on my computer?

And finally, which is the best all-a-round option?

My laptop doesn't boot because OS is on E: drive instead of C: drive






When I try to boot it up (it somehow boots up as windows 8.1 instead of my OS windows 10), it gives a BSoD and shows the error code 0xc000021a. I created a bootable USB drive with windows 10 pro on it, but it shows my OS as windows 8.1 instead of 10, and it doesn't allow me to restore or do a startup repair, because they both fail.
