Windows 10: How to get vpk files to download as vpk and not through internet explorer

I’m trying to download vpk files and they automatically go to internet explorer so the files don’t save right.

Ah, well those go in the respective folders in the \left 4 dead\left4dead folder, but as far as I'm aware, if you install it that way, and don't use a .vpk file, you can't create a lobby using that campaign, where as with Death Aboard 6.1, which I downloaded the .vpk file for, I can create a lobby, choose the Death Aboard campaign, have people join, and find a server *Smile

 

[IE6] Internet Explorer Cannot Download / [SITE]

Hi guys,

I'm having a problem with my Internet Explorer 6.

In any website I try to access, I get this

Internet Explorer cannot download / SITE
Internet Explorere was not able to open this internet site.

There's a downloading file right behind it. I'm just trying to access a site, but it shows that. Why is it? Is there a way to cure this error?

 

Microsoft Internet Explorer renamed to Windows Internet Explorer ?




Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).
