  1. How to get Windows 11 to recognize 3rd gen Airpods as an audio output??

This is an issue I've been having for months now, I don't know how many hours I've spent on this but I'm on the verge of giving up entirely. So far I've tried; deleting my Airpods from my laptop's Bluetooth settings, factory resetting them, restarting my laptop, deleting and reinstalling the bt drivers, and deleting the Avrcp Transport for the Airpods. They maybe worked once or twice but nothing I've tried has worked.I'm on an Acer Nitro 5 running Windows 11Edit: Meant to say that my Airpods work flawlessly more or less I bought them back when they first release so they're a little worn when

  2. audio output low on airpods 3 after windows 11 update. how to fix?

    Dear Windows Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to seek further assistance regarding a persistent audio issue I've been experiencing with my AirPods Gen 3 since updating my laptop to Windows 11.

Despite exhaustive troubleshooting efforts, including running the audio troubleshooter, disconnecting and reconnecting the AirPods, restarting both my laptop and the AirPods themselves, and verifying the functionality of the AirPods on other devices (both Samsung and Apple phones), the problem persists.

To provide more context, the low audio output issue seems to be exclusive to my AirPods when connected to my Windows 11 laptop. Other Bluetooth devices function normally with adequate volume levels. This suggests that the issue lies specifically with the compatibility between my AirPods and the Windows 11 operating system.

I have tried various solutions suggested online, including the following:

    Method 1: Check Audio Enhancements

    1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
    2. Type mmsys.cpl and click OK.
    3. Under the Playback tab, double-click on the sound device you are using.
    4. Click on the enhancements tab.
    5. Toggle the checkbox for Loudness Equalization.
    6. Click OK.
Additionally, I have checked individual app volume levels using the "OpenVolumeMixer" option from the speaker icon on the Taskbar, ensuring that the volume sliders are all the way up for the apps in use.

However, none of these measures have yielded a resolution to the problem.

Given the unique nature of this issue and the extensive troubleshooting already undertaken, I am reaching out to your team for further guidance and support in resolving this matter. Any additional insights or troubleshooting steps you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

For reference, I have an HP Elitebook x360 1030 and applied Airpods Gen3, the AirPods were giving perfectly fine audio output before the update.

Thank you for your attention to this issue, and I look forward to your prompt assistance in finding a solution.

  3. Airpods connected mic, but no output.

I've been trying to connect my Gen 2 Airpods Pro to my Windows 11 PC laptop, but I've encountered a problem. After successfully pairing and connecting the Airpods, it says Connected Mic, but nothing else. I go to output options, and there is nothing but the standard speakers option. Even when pairing through the "Pair a new output device" option in Settings, it will only connect as a microphone. Resetting the Airpods, restarting the computer, removing and repairing the Airpods, and trying to allow Windows to use it for audio haven't worked. Pressing the "Allow" button where it says "Allow apps and Windows to use this device for audio" just freezed and crashed Settings, and even when I was able to press "Allow", it still didn't work.

How to get Windows 11 to recognize 3rd gen Airpods as an audio output??

Gen 3 AirPods not playing audio anymore on windows 11.

Hi, I’m having issues with my AirPods. The odd thing is they worked just fine for around the first 2 days on my laptop, but now they don’t play audio into them when connected to it. Instead, it says they’re connected but the audio still comes from the laptop speakers.

I’ve tried listing them as an output device but it won’t show up as an option no matter what I do. I’ve troubleshooted and run diagnostics, but nothing works. It’s not the AirPods themselves because they connect to my phone just fine, so I don’t see the issue.

I need these to connect to my laptop for school, so I’d appreciate any help

    Thanks.
