Windows 10: How to give admin privilegies on win 10?

How to give admin privilegies on win 10? I had this problem on win 8.1 too.
I done the next: Right click on partition- properties-security-full control to everyone.
I can log in as admin but when I go to control panel, user account, manage other accounts- there isnt anyone (but it should). There is option to add someone to this pc, I type email but that service fail every time, then it gives me option to manually type the name and passwords... Dont know what to do.

I recently updated my computer to windows 10 and then downloaded an old pc computer game. The game downloaded fine but now when I click on it, a pop up says "please log in with administrator privilages and try again." How can I bypass this to play the game?

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

You'll get this prompt if you have do not have admin privileges. You can remove this by following methods.

Method 1:

• Login with an admin account and right click on the game file.
• Click on properties and click on compatibility.
• At the bottom of the new window that pops up, uncheck the option
  Run this program as administrator
• Click Apply and OK to save changes.

Method 2:

• Login with an admin account and right click on the game file.
• Select Properties and click Security.
  
• Click on Edit the select the user you would like to allow to use the program.
• Place a check mark on Full Control under “Allow” in “Permissions for”.
• Click Apply and OK.

Hi, I just am going through this goofy Windows 10 nonsense right now myself.

hit Win+R and put in gpedit.msc that is the group editor.

I had to thrash Windows Defender in there to get my rights to files, (services.msc didn't allow it) and I am on via the only account which is administrator.

Where was all this testing of 10 I was hearing about? UAC, Defender, and the Firewall were all reinstalled/reenabled, I did the install with my 7 and keeping settings, and it was really awful and I am still confused on some access.

I trashed that one drive immediately, I do not do cloud.

When I first got it installed, my F partition, where I put all utils..... it wouldn't even let me run a basic MP3 player there.
No access as admin, WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! That's were my blood started to boil, hehe

 

Ok I find a way to add new user and set right as admin but my old account from 8.1 is not visible. When I go to user account with that profile it says that Im guest account. :/ I click change accout type but it wont let me (nothing happens) so when I tried to do that from Administrator account, my account is not visible Maybe I need to turn on guests accounts somehow???

Also, at least, is it possible to set that I log as Administrator at starup so I dont need every time to switch user after turning on my pc?

 

This is crazy I cant download torrent files to C or install programms- Im god damn owner of this pc so I want admin privilegies. Jeez who done this in Microsoft, really ...
