    How to go back to the original preinstalled windows on laptop


    my friend gave me the worng product key its a pirated windows product key, its showing like in the image, my laptop is pre installed windows 11 home single language how can i go back there? is reset the pc with keep the files will make me go back to my original windows? please help me

    Lost my preinstalled Original Windows 8.1 software after I refreshed my laptop

    I refreshed my laptop which was preinstalled with Original Windows 8.1 software but after the refresh the preinstalled Windows software has disappeared.

    I do not have the Product Key for the Windows 8.1 as it came preinstalled with the ACER Laptop. I am at a loss and request MICROSOFT to help me out.

    Majority of my work have been lost. I am not a tech geek and thus am not able to recover the preinstalled windows software.

    Looking for Help from MICROSOFT.

    There is no public list kept of what version of Windows a product key is for.

    I suggest that you contact the computer/tablet manufacturer and ask them what was preinstalled on it.

    Or look for this if it was before Windows 8:

    The COA sticker is either on the underside of the Laptop or in the Battery Compartment.

    With a Desktop it is either on the side, rear or top of the Computer Case.
