Windows 10: How to hard reset my pc, if i only get 1 recovery option, which is turning off my pc

how am i supposed to access my computer if the pin is correct and it's saying my credentials are not verified, and when i try to go in recovery mode i only have 1Option: Turn off your PCwhat do i even do?im cooked

Went for pc recovery option and it was accidentally shut down and pc doesnt turn on

Just to clarify,What is the Make and Model of your PC?


If the your using a laptop, then i suggest you to perform Power Drain
by following below steps:
1. Disconnect the AC Adapter.

2. Remove the Battery.
3. Hold the Power button down for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

4. Reconnect the AC adapter.

5. Turn on the power button.

If the you are using the Desktop then, I suggest you to disconnect all the unnecessary external devices connected to the computer (except the mouse and the keyboard) and try booting the system.

If the issue persists, then refer to the section: Use installation media to restore or reset your PC
from the below Microsoft article.
