Windows 10: How to have touch screen enabled ONLY when in tablet mode

Hello everyone.To put it more clearly, by default I would like the touch screen feature on my laptop Windows 11, HP ENVY x360 to be disabled only to be enabled AUTOMATICALLY when it is in its folded position/tablet mode and vice versa. I am fine with external softwareI've been searching around finding an answer for this problem but couldn't find much.I did see a submission titled:"Automatically enable touchscreen when switching to tablet mode"But that person wasn't able to get a good answer.I hope this is a solvable question, you have my thanks.

I suggest you to perform the following troubleshooting steps and check if it helps. Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Right click on the Task bar and select ShowTouch Keyboard Button.
  
• 
  Open the Keyboard and close it (just to check if it’s working).
  
• 
  Next click on Action center and select
  Tablet Mode.
  
• 
  Once you are in Tablet mode, again Right click on the
  Task bar and select Show Touch Keyboard Button.
  
• 
  Open the Key board and check if it’s working in Tablet mode. Next check if it’s available on the task bar in both desktop and tablet mode.

Touch screen not working in Tablet Mode

why does tablet mode turn OFF when I flip my screen?

I turn Tablet "ON" by clicking on the notifications icon in lower right corner. Initially, "Tablet Mode" button is greyed out. When i click on "Tablet Mode" it turns blue and "ON" flashes once in the upper left corner of the button.

I flip the screen over to use tablet mode. No touchscreen functions, e..g. cannot move cursor, cannot select anything on screen, cannot scroll screen.

When I flip the screen back over to laptop configuration and return to the notification icon, the "Tablet Mode" button has returned to grey and is "off".

I've disabled/enabled the HID-compliant touch screen and re-started... no change.

The concern you have encountered may be due to a corrupted file or a misconfigured setting. Windows 10's Tablet Mode provides a more touch-friendly experience by making all applications run at full screen and giving you a Start screen instead of a Start Menu.
If you have a 2-in-1 device, Windows 10 asks you if you want to enter tablet mode every time you convert your notebook into a slate. Kindly follow the steps below to sort out the concern:

• Click Settings from the Start menu
  
• Click System, then select Tablet Mode in the left panel. A tablet mode submenu appear
  
• Toggle "Make Windows more touch-friendly . . ." to on to enable Tablet mode. Or off to go to desktop mode
  
• Configure the "When this device automatically switches" menu to let Windows 10 to switch modes on your 2-in-1 prompt or not prompt you.
