Cursor won't hide while typing.

None of these things resolved the issue with my cursor. Everything is up to date, and there are no problems when troubleshooting. My cursor still won't hide while I type.

 

Cursor won't hide while typing.

I've been having this issue while trying to type: my cursor doesn't hide anymore. I just updated to windows 10 [[like an hour ago]], and I have an acer aspire V7. I've checked, all my drivers are up to date. I've gone into the settings and the 'hide pointer
while typing' is on. I've fiddled with the delay, I've fiddled with the elan palm detection. I've turned my computer off and on several times. I've connected my tablet, I've disconnected it. The only reason I'm able to write anything coherent anymore is because
I used F7 to lock my touchpad while I type.

No matter what I do, my cursor jumps all over the screen while I'm typing. It's really starting to bother me. Are there any solutions? Or is this something that will be fixed in an update?

A quick question before we proceed:

What do you mean when you say “why does is there a pop up try suggesting me other posts when I know my question hasn't been asked?”

While typing you can hide the pointer. You may follow the steps below for the same:

• 
  Go to settings and click on Devices.
  
• 
  Click on Mouse and touchpad and select pointer options.
  
• 
  Now check the box for Hide pointer while typing.
  

Please be informed that there is no such option to set the blink slower and change the color of your cursor.
