  1. How to hide IP location in Windows 10

Hi,I am currently outside of the U.S and I would like to hide my IP location for two reasons:1-I do not want to get pop-up ads in the native language, nor do I want the search engine page to adapt to the local language.2- I can't sign in to some of my financial accounts because they sense I am connecting from overseas.I read that I can circumvent this issue by using VPN software. I have installed Psiphon 3 which is a great tool and I connect through their U.S proxy server, however, I am still having trouble connecting to my accounts. Any idea, how I can hide my IP location? Thanks

    :)

    Location setting

    Hi,

This issue could occur due to incorrect location settings or it would depend on your IP address. We suggest you to check the location settings of your PC, and check if it helps. Here are the steps:

    • Click the Start button, and select Settings.
    • Go to Privacy, and choose Location.
    • Make sure that the Location service is On.

If issue persists, then it has something to do with your IP address. It’s because the location detected depends on the location set on your IP address.

Let us know how it goes.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
