Windows 10: how to hide new feature in the taskbar after the latest update?

Hello,After the latest windows 10 update, I notice a new feature located at the right corner of the taskbar which appears to be a weather forecast with an image indicator, like a cloud. When I move the mouse cursor over the icon, it extended and shows a bunch of information that appears to the ones that the built-in browser would show on the default page.I appreciated the effort of the Microsoft developers who want to provide possibly useful information, but the newly added function is full of unwanted and unrelated information. Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?



If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

• Right click on Taskbar.
• Click on Properties
• Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
• Click on OK.

feature of the taskbar is by design and you can only speed up the auto-hide feature of the taskbar by disabling the animation settings. To do that, follow these steps:

• Click the Start button, then type “Animations” and press
  Enter.
• Switch Play animation in Windows from
  on to off.

Windows Show Hide not hiding 2004 feature update

Show/Hide has always worked for me. Yesterday I had about 10 updates show. I want to install all BUT the 2004 Feature Update, so hid that in Show/Hide. It shows as hidden there, but when I check Windows Update again the next day, it is still listed. Normally, it would not be and all other updates would be. Now all are there and I do not yet care to install the feature update.

Any ideas / suggestions?
