Windows 10: How to hide wifi networks

Hi,


When I click on wifi icon there are so many funny wifi names showing, some of my neighbors use these types of wifi names (Example: Ready to Mingle, Bathroom Cam 2, Close your bathroom curtains, Your Brain On Drugs) to shock me But I don't want to see their wifi names. Is there any option in Windows 10 to hide or block such networks.

Wifi network not appearing after recent Win 10 monthly patch


Someone else on another forum suggested I switch the wifi freq on my Android Nexus 5x. So I switched it from 5ghz to 2.4 and it worked! Problem solved. Now my Nexus hotspot is again appearing in my Win 10 list of available wifi networks. So problem was with Android and not Windows.

Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?



If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

• Right click on Taskbar.
• Click on Properties
• Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
• Click on OK.
