Pictures tile shows deleted photos.

My phone is a Lumia 710 running Phone 7.5 ( (7.10.8107.79)



I took a few photos with the camera when I got it a couple of days ago. And then promptly deleted them. Yesterday, the Pictures tile was suddenly displaying these photos on it on the front of my phone despite them being deleted. I've checked. I cannot find
them anywhere on the phone. I am not (or do not wish to be) syncing ANYTHING to online right now. I'm not particularly feeling very pleased with my purchase right now. How do I actually delete photos from my phone. They are plainly still on there as the Pictures
tile is showing them.



If I press the Pictures tile when one of the deleted photos is showing, it just takes me to the Pictures section of my phone. The photo that was showing on the screen is not there nor listed under any album, etc.



I need this fixed.

 

Windows 10 Explorer Deleted Photos still show up in Photo App viewer

Uploaded vacation photos from camera to external hard drive. Open Windows Explorer to cull the bad ones, extraneous/duplicates. Did that and when I opened up Photo App to view reduced picture set - they are all showing - even the deleted ones. When looking at the list in Explorer there are 17 pictures, the slideshow shows 25. All the deleted ones are still showing up.
I created a new folder and moved only the 17 pictures to that folder and deleted the original one. Guess what? They still show up. Haunted by the bad photos which won't go away! Help - What am I doing wrong?

We will need some more information from you to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please reply with the following details:

• When you say, “I can't delete individual pictures” are you facing any issues in deleting the all pictures or only a particular? If yes, what is the error message that you read?
  
• Are you trying to remove the picture only from Photos app?
  

If you are trying to remove the pictures only from the Microsoft Photos app, then you can remove the particular folder from the Photos apps and the pictures won’t appear in Photos app. Please follow the steps mentioned below to do the same:

1. Open Photos app.
   
2. Click on ellipsis (three dots) on the top right corner and click on
   Settings.
   
3. Under Sources, click on X
   to remove the folder where your pictures are saved.
