How to I remove labels of two apps I uninstalled?

I recently uninstalled a number of the apps that came with Windows 10. For most, the labels appearing on my start menu have gone as well, but for some reason two (Money and News) have remained (see image below). How can I remove these labels?

Two copies of "Messaging" - how do I remove one of them?

    Hi there,

I have a Palm Treo Pro running windows mobile 6.1 and today it's gone a little haywire.. First I couldn't make calls.. then it froze and I had to restart by removing the battery.. after doing so I was then guided through the windows mobile setup (setting time/date
etc.. ) .. after this I thought it was fine.. everything was still there.. my contacts and all.. but my welcome page had been reset to default.. however, I could no longer access my sms's! I discovered there was 2 copies of Messaging in my programs folder..

How can I remove one of these.. can't seem to find any option to do this.. is that actually the solution? Or does anyone else have another suggestion?

    TIA,

    Tom.

Hi, it looks as though you are using a 3rd party start menu.
Try right clicking on the shortcut. There may well be a delete option.
Else right click on the folder and see if there's an open option to open it in explorer, then delete.

I commend Geek uninstaller (free) to you. If you always use this to uninstall programs, it scans for leftovers as well. I use it regularly.

Thanks for your reply. I use Classic Shell for my Start Menu.

I have tried right clicking, but there are no options to delete or to open in folder (see image below).

Hi, oops, sorry- read that too fast.. these are universal app shortcuts. What I said as you probably realised applies to conventional desktop programs.

If (having done a restart) you open the Win 10 start menu (e.g. SHIFT + Win key) do they appear there too?

How did you uninstall the apps? Rt click, uninstall, or using a Powershell command?

There are no shortcuts to Modern UI apps, these are derived by enumerating the contents of
    C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\
    (which you can't access directly)

See also Windows key + R, then type
    shell:appsfolder

If they still exist after a restart, the app hasn't been fully removed.

How to I remove labels of two apps I uninstalled?

I think this has been resolved now. First, they were still there after I restarted my PC. When I clicked SHIFT + Win key, as you suggested, I saw them listed still. I then right-clicked and selected 'uninstall' and the label disappeared.

For info, they were originally uninstalled using a Powershell command.

This is what it looks like now -
